Egypt is a fascinating country with a rich history and many interesting attractions to explore. If you only have 5 days to spend in Egypt, I would suggest spending 3 days in Cairo and 2 days in Alexandria. Here is a suggested itinerary for your trip:
Day 1: Cairo
– Start your day by visiting the Giza Plateau, where you will find the iconic Pyramids of Giza, including the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure. Don’t forget to also visit the Great Sphinx, located nearby.
Full day Giza Pyramids, Sphinx & Sakkara
– In the afternoon, head to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. This museum houses an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, including the treasures of Tutankhamun.
