Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, meet our representative for assistance with arrival procedures and luggage. Transfer by private air-conditioned vehicle to your Cairo hotel, complete check-in and review the upcoming journey. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure and rest after your flight.
After breakfast, meet your private Egyptologist and explore the Giza Plateau. See the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure, the Valley Temple and the Great Sphinx. Continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum, where monumental statues and the treasures of ancient Egypt reveal more than 5,000 years of history. Return to your Cairo hotel.
Transfer to Cairo Airport for your economy flight to Aswan. Meet your Egyptologist on arrival and visit the Aswan High Dam before travelling by motorboat to Philae Temple on Agilkia Island. After the tour, board your Nile cruise, settle into your cabin and enjoy lunch and dinner onboard.
Sail to Kom Ombo and explore its unusual double temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus the Elder. Continue toward Edfu, where a horse-drawn carriage takes you to the exceptionally preserved Temple of Horus. Return to the ship and enjoy the Nile scenery while sailing toward Luxor.
Arrive in Luxor and explore the East Bank with your private Egyptologist. Walk through the monumental Karnak Temple Complex and its Great Hypostyle Hall, then visit elegant Luxor Temple and learn how it was connected to Karnak by the Avenue of Sphinxes. Return aboard for your final cruise night.
Disembark after breakfast and cross to Luxor’s West Bank. Enter selected royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings, admire the terraced Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and stop at the Colossi of Memnon. Transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight to Cairo, followed by a private transfer to your hotel.
