Explore the Giza Plateau with your private Egyptologist. See the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure, the Valley Temple and the Great Sphinx. After lunch, continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum to discover monumental statues and the treasures of ancient Egypt. Return to your Cairo hotel.
Drive southwest from Cairo to Bahariya Oasis, a green settlement surrounded by desert hills. Check into your lodge, enjoy lunch and explore palm gardens, local villages and a natural spring when conditions permit. Relax at the lodge and prepare for the following day’s 4×4 safari.
Board a 4×4 with your local safari team and cross the volcanic Black Desert. Stop at El Hez, Crystal Mountain and the dramatic formations of Aqabat Valley before entering White Desert National Park. Try sandboarding, photograph the wind-carved chalk sculptures and watch sunset. Enjoy a Bedouin dinner and sleep at a prepared desert camp beneath the stars.
Wake early for sunrise over the White Desert. After breakfast, take a final drive among the Mushroom and Chicken rock formations before returning through Bahariya to Cairo. Arrive at your hotel in the evening and enjoy time to rest.
Discover historic Cairo with your private guide. Walk along Al Muizz Street to admire medieval mosques, houses and monumental gates, then explore the lanes of Khan El Khalili Bazaar. In the evening, enjoy dinner and live entertainment aboard a Nile dinner cruise before returning to your hotel.
